Bison Kisses

We were having great weather so we took a quick trip to the NC Zoo last weekend.  Since Avery couldn't kiss a real Bison, she settled for this one.

As we were leaving,  I asked her what her favorite things from the zoo were.... "the jelly sandwich  (actually a PBJ) and the elephants at the entrance."

All those animals and she was most fascinated by elephant statues and a sandwich!

It's Working!

We had oatmeal for breakfast this morning.  I told Avery I was going to put a napkin on her to catch any dribbles.  Soon after, she dropped a big blog of oatmeal right in her lap.  She squealed, looked at me, and said "It's working!!"

She cracks me up.  Also notice the cup with no lid...she's growing too fast!

This little girl picked out her shoes and headband this morning.   I'm loving the Chuck Taylor's with the princess skirt.  I think we may have a mini fashionista on our hands!

On the way to school, she told me to "turn it up louder", "dance, mommy", and "watch out for that car".  She's 2 going on 15!
